Well no news is good new right? WRONG! Nothing has happened yet and we still haven't signed the contracts or chosen any materials. We have had a letter from our bank telling us that our loan pre-approval will end at the start of Feb so we need to get our contract signed before then otherwise we will have to go through the approval process again. Can't see anything happening as all our sales guy says is "I've handed the forms into head office, what else can I do?" He doesn't think we will have contracts until the middle of Feb.
The only excitement we had is when we visited the display home to show our parents. Whilst we were there our son decided to fall of a couch and smash his head open on the coffee table. Our display home tour was cut short as we cheesed it to the hospital whilst both sets of parents stayed behind to clean up the mess (literally). Lots of blood, tears and a little bit of glue and he is all better. I never really wanted to see my sons skull before....and I never want to again! Shannon had to fill out an incident report for Dennis homes but refused to blame them so it looks like we will still have to pay for our house...
oh that is how he got hurt!! poor baby... :(
ReplyDeleteby the way, nothing on our house either.. apparently most mass builders are only now (this week) coming back online.. but some of the tradies don't get back until end of Jan. we've had nearly 2 months of nothing as well. FRUSTRATING!
ReplyDeleteGoddamn builders! So how much do you have left on your house? Can't be too much??
ReplyDeleteOnly quality walk through to go - we need to pick out the faults and flaws that we can see and negotiate on fixes prior to settlement. Unsure how long fixes will take though but i'm guessing it depends on how well negotiations go >.<
