Colours / Materials Chosen!

A bit of a late update but we've been in Queensland on holiday for a week. Anyhoo, last friday we got to choose all of the colours and materials that we will use in our new house! So we went to the Dennis Family head office and met our colour consultant Charlotte, without her we would have been screwed!

We started of with the outside of the house and we already had that sorted before hand. We are going with the Boral Ebony (Black) tile roof, Austral Homestead Tan bricks, a dark colorbond gutter and Merino (Creamy) aluminium windows. The garage door will be a Panelift Sectional Ranchstyle door.

Inside we are going for earthy colours and dark benches. I can't be bothered listing all the products here so i will post some photos and write where they go. The photos won't be a true reproduction of the colour but it will give an idea.

The photo below shows the bricks, tiles, cream windows and dark grey guttering.

The image below is kind of hard to make out but it shows the floor tiles (top left), carpet (top right), interior paint (bottom left) - darker walls, lighter door jams etc, and bathroom tiles (bottom right).

The photo below shows the white bathroom tiles, browny floor tiles and the glass tile border that will run through bathroom and ensuite. Horizontal in the bathroom and vertical in the ensuite.

Below is the ceasarstone bathroom/ensuite benchtop with the laundry benchtop on top (left) and in the middle is the colour of the kitchen/bathroom/ensuite benches. On the right is the ceasarstone kitchen benchtop.

Plenty more items were chosen such as handles and blinds, I will add them when I get some time.
We also got formal approval for our homeloan today...again! Long story but we had to get reapproved because Westpac changed their criteria since we first got approved. At first they said we needed to front an extra $40k! Sure we have that lying around.... But anyway we got it sorted and we just need to sign the mortgage docs and start building!
