We have a fence!

Last week I headed down to the block to see what was going on and was pleased to find that the rear fence had been built! It looks pretty good to although the fence builders left all the offcuts on our side of the fence so I might have to head down again and tidy up a bit.





I also noticed that our pending neighbours (lot 510) had put their sign up and had the water connections put in (both normal and recycled). It will be a race to see who finishes first!



Today we went to Boral Bricks and Austral Bricks to see what they had to offer before we pick all the materials on Friday. Boral had a huge range but due to the unprecedented high demand (housing boom) they had suspended a lot of them to concentrate on their best sellers. Australbricks didn't have such a huge range but most of the ones we saw we liked and we could easily narrow it down to a choice of four. They gave us some samples and some addresses of houses using those bricks. We had a drive around to those houses and think we have decided on Homestead Tan.


So this Friday we get to choose all the other materials, can't wait!
