Progress!

We have progress finally! Shannon got a call last week from our sales guy who told us that our contracts were in and ready to sign. Shan managed to get hold of the contract a couple of days early so we could go over it bofore the signing. Lucky for us! We found a few things that they had added such as extra concrete, double glazed windows and some other small stuff which jacked the price up by 6k or so. Sneaky buggers!

So we made a note of eveything and then headed of to the signing on Sunday 21st of Feb. IT actually all went pretty smoothly. We told the sales guy about the extras and he removed them for us without a fuss, then we added in the extras we wanted such as 450mm eaves 955mm benches, extra powerpoints and a few other things.

Then we had to sign the contract. All 90 pages of it. Not fun! But that part is done and now we just have to wait for the variation pricing and need to organise our homeloan. Once all that is done they think they should be building by the 27tho of March!

We are booked in to pick our colours and materials on the 12th of December and we can't wait for that. It's all happeneing really quickly now!
